Accommodation

The Mill, self-catering, self-contained accommodation, sleeps 4.  We occupy the Miller's cottage next door.

Stone flagged entrance hall (traditionally called the cross passage) with views of the old mill machinery, grindstones and mill wheel.

Spiral Bedroom with king sized double bed (converts to twin beds as required) and spiral staircase. En-suite shower room with power shower, and loo (up a few stairs).

Wheel Bedroom with brass double bed, underfloor heating and view down the Gorge. (up a staircase).

Spacious living area (up a steep staircase), with original stone walls and beamed pitch roof;

  • Dining area and spacious living area with wood burner and direct views to the River Greta.
  • A large, comfortable sofa bed gives extra sleeping spaces for two sharing.
  • 32" HD Satellite TV, DVD player, radio, CD player, books and board games

Family bathroom with generous bath with hand-held shower.

Oak Fitted Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge with freezing compartment and microwave. Ceramic hob and oven and all cooking equipment.

KitchenPretty garden area with views to the River Greta, table, chairs for al fresco eating and use of 6 acres grounds around the Mill.

There is ample private parking and secure storage for mountain bikes available by arrangement and the cross passage is ideal for hanging wet walking gear (there is a clothes drying rack for this) and drying muddy boots.

All linen and heating is included. The first basket of logs for wood burner complimentary, subsequent wood is available from owners at cost.

Unfortunately, we cannot host any pets as we are surrounded by stock farms.

The Mill is a no smoking property.
